Explanation : | ||
By holding envy none grow higher. By not holding it none grow lesser in their progress either. Un-enviousness increases the growth. Enviousness spoils the growth is the implied meaning here. Human beings only by comparing with others measure their growth and also achieve progress in their life, profession, education, properties and prosperities. As long as this comparison stands within the limits of competition it would help to progress. However the same comparison when turns as envision that would destroy completely the progress is the message concealed here. Therefore those who wish to progress instead of competitive mind when they conceive enviousness it would mean only destruction. Hence they never progress. Those who strive by thinking only competition without any jealous have never grown lesser in their goals. Their growths aided by the positive attitude only progresses and prosper and they never decline. This is the main difference between the competition and enviousness. Competitive mind means not thinking any evil for the competitor but focusing only on progress and to succeed and elevate through one’s own sincere efforts. On the other hand, the enviousness is to think and inflict evil on the competitor and through that to advance and succeed. In a running race by concentrating to run beyond the running neighbor and running so to come forward is the competition. Though the competitor won in that race, taking that as the lesson, congratulating and appreciating him all are good virtues and habits. Though the competitor won in the next levels too appreciating him is again a positive and good virtue. On the other hand, giving troubles to the competitor, slipping his legs, pulling him or his legs or tripping out into his track or pushing him down, trying to topple him through tricks or blaming his age or other reasons and trying to disqualify him through all possible ways of perturbing by thinking or doing all these kind of evil deeds and by which to come top is complete enviousness. In whatever level the competitor wins instead of appreciating getting enmity on him is again all due to the evil practice of enviousness. The competitive one is the believer of self confidence. He would believe that his growth comes naturally when others grow. He will analyze and study the success of others and use them to grow and better himself. He will believe that he advances through others progresses. With positive thinking and cooperative mind he will think only about the progress and success. The envy one is unbeliever and has no confidence in his own self. He will think negatively that when others grow he will fail. And he will lose confidence. Hence he will be annoyed by others success. He will think only evil and ill. Hence he will stay back even without any natural advancement or growth. Therefore he will not have any progress at all. The competitive one is without any enviousness. Therefore he will not have any shortfall in his progress at all. Therefore the human beings need only competition to succeed in life. Not the enviousness. | ||
