Explanation : | ||
That who stands on virtuous path wishing the God's grace, when gets covetous and encircled by wrong activities, his goal, way and life will get ruined. One who wishes the grace of God, on his covetousness on wealth of others instantly gets spoilt. It is sure and certain that he has failed from his virtuous path. Further to that when he is surrounded with bad and wrong deeds and approaches the evil ways, his goal of grace, his virtuous path and his life will go ruined is the meaning. While it is very obvious and certain that one loses his goal, path and life immediately on ignoring his virtuous path coveting on others wealth, what is that necessary for Valluvar to emphasize it again? Is it to emphasize that he will get ruined in totality? Not only is that the answer. That who adopted the good virtues to show or get the kindness or the graciousness, when tries to continue it through covetousness he will stand encircled by the evils and will get ruined completely is the meaning. For instance when one breaks a coconut for the street Ganesha God, without paying its cost to the owner, will that fetch him God's blessings? Will the robbing others goods though claimed only to help the others be a sacred act? No. Such wrong deeds will never get any grace is the meaning. By cheating and deceiving or extorting others and using that goods to others is not the good virtue is the implicit meaning here. Constructing temples through plundering, helping the poor through robbing others and such activities are like killing the non favorable judge and claiming that the justice will prevail. Also it is like the people who construct the community halls for their own earnings and benefits and amusing themselves that they are doing the public service. If the grace is the motto then the right path is only the good virtues. It cannot be achieved through other ways, short cuts or by any covetousness. When the grace of God is bestowed won't it help to achieve the required wealth as well? Then why should one get covetous? Why the sinner ways if the liberation is certain through devotion? The good virtues only yield goodness. Instead of waiting the fruit to ripe by natural ways, if one makes through beating, will it ripe or be sweeter? Therefore only the requisites here are the patience and strong belief and trust on the good virtues. The grace from the God is only possible through adopting the good virtues sincerely. It cannot be attained by snatching. Therefore without that way all other ways like covetous activities and stealing cannot be fruitful or materialistic. They can only divert the direction and yield only the evils. | ||
